Dona Francisca hydropower plant

Dona Francisca hydropower plant is located on the Jacuí river in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

The plant has a total head of approximately 40m. The powerhouse is equipped two Francis turbines, which receive water through two penstocks that are 85m long and 6.3m in diameter. The RCC dam is 51m high.
